Fred R. Cooper

Fred R. Cooper is a highly qualified, skilled and experienced Human Resources and Operations executive having held high level positions in both the public and private sectors. His operations responsibilities encompassed overseeing multiple components of complex organizations that included the full range of human resources responsibilities,strategic planning development and monitoring, budget development, marketing, public relations, purchasing and procurement and other functions.

As a Human Resources-focused executive, Fred served as the Vice President of a national human resources consulting company where he conducted and/or managed other consultants on more than 100 classification, compensation, organizational analysis and review, benefit analysis and other client- specific projects in more than a dozen states.

Prior to his Human Resources career, Fred served as the Court Executive or Trial Court Administrator---equivalent to the Chief Executive Officer--of large court operations in several general and limited jurisdiction courts in the Midwest, East Coast and Southwest..

In addition to his executive positions in court systems, his experience in both operations and human resources management has been in medical practice management, medical insurance management, commercial construction, manufacturing, distribution and supply chain management/operations.

Fred’s Master’s degree focus is Organizational Analysis, Review and Design and he has utilized this expertise to assist his clients in optimizing their internal organizational structures.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and nearly five years as a television news reporter, assistant news director and news anchor in a Midwestern television market prior to his high level court operations career, Fred has a keen sense and awareness of marketing opportunities, public relations and news-worthy activities that can be implemented to further enhance his client company’s visibility.

He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), National Association of Court Management (NACM), International Public Managers Association (IPMA), Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, Arizona Small Business Association (ASBA),  and is an active participant and volunteer in several groups including Arizona Career Connections, AZ HR Leaders Group, AZ Consultants Forum, Tempe Career Network and others around the valley.

Fred has authored, contributed to and has been quoted/published in nationally-distributed on-line and print media in dozens of articles relating to various human resources issues, training programs and topics "of the day".

He is currently working on achieving his SPHR certification from SHRM and has taken several classes working towards his Certified Compensation Professional designation from the World at Work.
